IS 17876 specifies the requirements for welded stainless steel tubes and pipes of circular and non-circular cross-section produced by longitudinal, helical or laser-weld processes. The standard governs grade, mechanical properties, dimensional tolerance, weld-bead profile and hydrostatic pressure test for line-pipe and structural applications.
