He is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Indian Society of Lighting Engineers, a Fellow of the Metrology Society of India, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
R P Singh is an eminent scientist with deep experience across standardisation, conformity assessment, and quality assurance. He served for 32 years at the Bureau of Indian Standards, retiring as Senior Director.
