IS 16102 prescribes the safety requirements for self-ballasted LED lamps and luminaires intended for general lighting service in domestic, office and outdoor installations. The standard, aligned with IEC 62560, covers shock, fire, electromagnetic and photobiological safety for LED light sources operating above 50 V.
