IS 16011 specifies the requirements for plain, embossed, coated, perforated and printed aluminium foil supplied for packaging, lamination and household use. The standard prescribes alloy grade, temper, thickness tolerance, mechanical properties and surface finish for thin-rolled foil up to 0.2 mm.
