IS 14928 specifies the requirements for high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene multifilament fish-netting yarns and made-up nets used in marine and inland fisheries. The standard prescribes denier, breaking strength, knot security and ultraviolet stability for monofilament and multifilament constructions.
