IS 11356 specifies the requirements for synthetic styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) supplied in latex, oil-extended, high-styrene and block-copolymer grades. The standard governs Mooney viscosity, bound-styrene content, volatile matter and ash content for tyre, footwear and industrial rubber manufacture.
