IS 61730 (harmonized as IS/IEC 61730) is the Indian Standard for photovoltaic (PV) module safety qualification. Part 1 specifies requirements for construction and Part 2 specifies requirements for testing of crystalline silicon and other terrestrial PV modules; it is read with IS 14286 (design qualification and type approval of crystalline silicon PV modules) for solar module compliance.
