IS 2096 specifies the requirements for asbestos-cement flat sheets used for partitioning, ceiling, cladding and lining applications. The standard prescribes density, flexural strength, water absorption and dimensional tolerance for both asbestos-containing and substitute-fibre flat-sheet variants.
