A word of counsel

The most common error on this tariff line is presenting the Jute Commissioner registration for new jute articles while including used jute bags in the same consignment. Import of used jute bags is categorically not allowed under the Jute Import Order dated 23-09-2019, and a mixed consignment containing used bags will result in detention and potential confiscation of the prohibited portion, with demurrage and ground rent accruing on the entire consignment pending resolution.
