Of nickel alloys
Tubes and pipes of nickel alloys
HSN 7507 12 00 (tubes and pipes of nickel alloys) is not covered by a Bureau of Indian Standards Quality Control Order and carries no Partner Government Agency clearance requirement at the tariff-line level. Import follows the standard customs procedure: Importer-Exporter Code, bill of entry, commercial invoice, packing list. Other nickel and nickel-alloy products within Chapter 75, or pressure-service tubular goods classified elsewhere, may carry distinct compliance obligations depending on form and end-use.
The absence of compliance at this tariff line does not extend to all nickel tubular products: tube or pipe fittings of nickel alloys (couplings, elbows, sleeves) are separately classified within heading 7507 and warrant independent verification. Where customs re-examines the declared form or alloy specification and reclassifies the goods, retrospective compliance obligations and detention pending resolution follow. Confirm the precise alloy composition, product form, and intended use against the customs tariff before treating the absence of compliance as settled.
