The most frequent error on this tariff line is importing against an IS number that has been placed in abeyance under S.O. 5134(E) dated 20-11-2025, which suspended enforcement of specific serial numbers in Schedule 1 for three years from the date of gazette publication. Importers who pre-verified their supplier's CM/L at order placement but did not re-check whether the mapped IS serial number falls within the suspended list at shipment date risk detention for citing an operative QCO obligation that customs now treats differently. Cross-reference the serial number of the applicable IS in Schedule 1 against the suspended list in S.O. 5134(E) before each shipment.
