- 3Where the consignment originates from or transits through Bangladesh, verify applicability of the port restrictions introduced under Para 19 of the General Notes by DGFT Notification 7/2025-26 dated 17-05-2025. The most common error on this tariff line is treating the azo-dye PSIC as a formality for origins that are not on the exempted-country list. The exemption covers composition testing only for the nine listed countries; a consignment from any other origin — including major apparel exporters in South and South-East Asia — arriving without a valid azo-dye test report faces detention and re-testing at the importer's cost. The woollen-blend certification and brand-genuineness certificate are distinct requirements from the hazardous-dye PSIC and must be procured separately even when the azo-dye exemption applies.
