A word of counsel

The most common error on this tariff line is assuming the azo-dye PSIC exemption covers all major trading partners. The exemption is strictly limited to the nine listed countries; consignments from Bangladesh, China, or any other origin not on the exempted list require a PSIC or valid TC/CSRTI test report, and absence of this document at the bill-of-entry stage results in consignment detention and demurrage accumulation pending re-inspection.
