A word of counsel

The most frequent error on this tariff line is assuming the azo-dye testing exemption applies to any origin with a strong textile-export profile. The exemption is a closed list — EU, Serbia, Poland, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom only. A consignment from any other origin arriving without a PSIC or a TC/CSRTI test report will be detained at the port of import pending compliance, with demurrage and ground rent accruing from the date of arrival.
