The most common error on this tariff line is assuming the azo-dye testing exemption extends to all textile-exporting countries. The exemption is limited to EU member states, Serbia, Poland, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom; consignments from any other origin without a valid PSIC or test report are liable to detention and re-export at the importer's cost.
