Wool grease, crude
Crude wool grease and lanolin derivatives of animal origin
HSN 1505 00 20 (Wool grease, crude) is subject to Animal Quarantine and Certification Services (AQCS) sanitary clearance under the livestock-origin import regime. A veterinary Health Certificate from the exporting country and a Laboratory Report or Certificate of Analysis must accompany every consignment and be uploaded in e-Sanchit before customs out-of-charge.
- Health Certificate from AQCS
- Veterinary Health Certificate from exporting country
- Certificate of Analysis from accredited laboratory
- 1Obtain a veterinary Health Certificate issued by the competent authority of the exporting country and upload it in e-Sanchit under document code 853AQ1 before filing the bill of entry. This document is mandatory for CTIs listed in Annexure A (Sl. No. 1) of CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022.CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022 · Annexure A, Sl. No. 1 · document code 853AQ1
- 2Upload the Laboratory Report or Certificate of Analysis (CoA) in e-Sanchit under document code 001AQ1, and ensure the Health Certificate (document code 6360AQ) is also uploaded. The customs proper officer will verify both documents are present in e-Sanchit before granting out-of-charge.CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022 · Annexure A, Sl. No. 2 · document codes 001AQ1, 6360AQ
The most frequent error on this tariff line is confusing the two distinct AQCS document codes: the veterinary Health Certificate from the exporting-country authority (853AQ1) and the general Health Certificate (6360AQ) are separate uploads, and the Laboratory Report or CoA (001AQ1) is a third independent requirement. Uploading only one of these in e-Sanchit leaves the bill of entry incomplete; the proper officer will withhold out-of-charge until all three codes are verified, triggering detention and demurrage.
