Upload the AQCS-issued Sanitary Import Permit (document code 911DF1) and quote its e-Sanchit IRN on the bill of entry to obtain the AQCS NOC. Additionally upload the veterinary health certificate from the exporting country (document code 853AQ1) and the laboratory report or Certificate of Analysis (document code 001AQ1), as required under Circular 24/2022-Cus Annexure A.

The most common error on this tariff line is uploading the FSSAI Import Licence and overlooking the three distinct AQCS document codes — 911DF1, 853AQ1, and 001AQ1 — each of which is independently verified at out-of-charge. A consignment presenting all FSSAI clearances but missing even one AQCS document code in e-Sanchit will be detained at the designated port, accruing demurrage and ground rent until the gap is rectified. The IS 1166 compliance requirement under General Note 2(a) is a separate customs-policy overlay that applies in addition to the FSSAI food-safety clearance.
