A consignment arriving at a designated port with a current FSSAI licence but without the AQCS Sanitary Import Permit IRN uploaded in e-Sanchit is detained, attracting demurrage and ground rent until the deficiency is cured. The rectifiable-labelling window covers label defects only; a missing PGA clearance is not a rectifiable defect.
