- 1Obtain the AQCS Sanitary Import Permit (document code 911DF1) before shipment. The e-Sanchit IRN generated for this permit must be quoted on the bill of entry to obtain the AQCS NOC, per the CTIs listed in Annexure A (Sl. No. 3) of CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022.CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022 · Annexure A, Sl. No. 3
- 2Upload the Veterinary Health Certificate issued by the exporting country (document code 853AQ1) and the Laboratory Report/Certificate of Analysis (document code 001AQ1) in e-Sanchit before out-of-charge. Both are mandatory for CTIs listed in Annexure A (Sl. Nos. 1 and 2) of CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus. Upload the Veterinary Quarantine Certificate (document code 629000) as a separate mandatory document.CBIC Circular 24/2022-Cus dated 28-11-2022 · Annexure A, Sl. Nos. 1 and 2
- 3Confirm the ITC (HS) policy status of the consignment before filing. Import is Restricted for general live domestic fowls; if importing Grand Parent Stock of poultry, document the category clearly on the bill of entry as that sub-category is Free under DGFT policy.ITC (HS) import policy, Chapter 01 · DGFT Grand Parent Stock carve-out
The most common error on this tariff line is treating the Sanitary Import Permit as the sole AQCS requirement and overlooking the Veterinary Health Certificate (853AQ1) and the Laboratory Report/Certificate of Analysis (001AQ1), both of which are independent mandatory uploads in e-Sanchit. A consignment presented with a valid Sanitary Import Permit but missing either of the other two documents will be denied out-of-charge, attracting detention and demurrage at the port of import.
